WHAT IT IS:

*A relaxing weekend away to Dorset with a group of like-minded London singles.
* Why? Because I think that lots of single people in London find it hard to meet attractive, cool, bright and witty people and that Internet Dating fails because we make judgements about people based on one picture and some sales blurb and our expectations might not be realistic
*As some of my girl friends are in this position I am arranging a weekend in Dorset this November to a stylish hotel and finding eligible men to be their companions for the weekend. I'm hoping that by throwing people together they can get to know each other slowly and have fun and at the least make new friends if not a new more...
*There will be lots of food, champagne and wine, outdoor pursuits and delicious company.
* There will be the same number of men and women, never less than a group of 8.
*Mobiles and Blackberrys are banned while we are on trips/at dinner/together so you can focus on the people you are with
*If it works I might arrange more and might arrange one-off dos too.
*So help me "spread the love"!

WHAT IT ISN’T:

*Internet-dating. I think it's better that you haven't seen pictures of each other before or emailed so that no-one makes judgements about each other before they meet. It's a surprise!
But I will ask for a photo and a short biog so I can get to know you and who you are - after all, I've want to find compatible people for you to go away with
*Speed-dating. It's just embarrassing.
